Terms and conditions of sale
Here, you will find all our terms and conditions of sale
1. Payment of statutory package
Payment of your statutory package must be in our possession the day before you are due at the beginner’s track. When purchasing the statutory package, you enter into a binding agreement with Din Min Trafik. Therefore, the statutory package is non-refundable.
1.1. Right of return
You have a 14 day right of return as long as your statutory package is not being used, meaning that once you start your lessons at the school, it is non-refundable and the 14 day right of return ends.
2. Reimbursement
If you do not wish to continue your lessons at Din Min Trafik after you have paid the entire amount, reimbursement will take place as follows (with the exception of the statutory package, as it is binding):
Start package: You must pay for your start package no later than the day before going to the beginner’s track. The start package can be reimbursed within 8 days of the date of purchase, if you have not had lessons on the beginner’s track yet. However, if you have started your lessons on the beginner’s track, DKK 1599 will be deducted from the start package. You must pay for your upgrade package no later than when you have completed lessons no. 21-22 (cf. the lesson plan).
The upgrade package: The upgrade package can be reimbursed within 8 days, if you have not completed lessons no. 23+24 (cf. the lesson plan). If you have completed lessons no. 23-24 or the following practical lessons within 8 days, the completed road lessons are deducted at the lesson price in force at the time.
Quick course: The 3 weeks start once you have been approved by the citizen service centre.
As the quick course is a mutual effort, you have no right to reimbursement of the extra quick course fee if you fail the theory test or the practical test.
If you interrupt the quick course yourself, you have no right to reimbursement of the extra quick course fee.
The claim for reimbursement must be submitted to Din Min Trafik within a year after the first payment date (stated at the bottom of your order/invoice). After this, you have no right to reimbursement.
All purchases from Din Min Trafik are valid for one year.
3. Lesson plan
You must bring your lesson plan to all theory lessons and practical lessons cf. the legal requirement. The lesson plan must be signed by the student as well as the driving instructor at each completed lesson. The driving school must turn away any student who has not brought the lesson plan to lessons cf. the legal requirement. If you have lost your lesson plan, you must pay a fee of DKK 200 to have your lesson plan reconstructed with signature, stamps and other documentation.
4. Assignment of driving instructor
You will be assigned a driving instructor who matches you and your needs. You may risk some waiting time for a driving instructor, if you wish to drive with a specific driving instructor. You will be assigned a driving instructor immediately after having been to the beginner’s track. You can contact to the driving school to find out who your driving instructor is.
5. First aid
It has been a legal requirement since 1 October 2006 that everyone getting a driving license for the first time must complete a traffic-related first aid course. A first aid course is intended to make you capable of handling traffic accidents. The course includes 8 hours of lessons, of which 4 hours are about basic resuscitation and the remaining 4 are about traffic-related first aid. Remember to order your first aid course well in advance. Din Min Trafik holds first aid courses once a month at the driving school between 8 AM and 4 PM.
6. Cancellation rules

In case of lacking attendance or cancellation at a later time, you must pay for a new first aid course. In case of cancellation, you must contact the driving school in writing on the e-mail address info@dinmintrafik.dk.
Cancellation for a practical lesson (driving lesson): You must cancel a practical driving lesson no later than 12 noon the weekday before the lesson. In case of cancellation too late or lacking attendance regardless of the reason, you must pay for the booked number of lessons.

7. Theory and driving test
The driving test consists of a theoretical and a practical part. The theory test cannot take place until one month before you turn 18. You cannot take the practical test until you have turned 18 and have passed the theory test. The practical test must be taken no later than 12 months after you have passed the theory test. Once you are ready for your theory test, you arrange with your driving instructor when you will be taking the theory test. Your driving instructor will book the theory lesson or practical lesson with you.
The driving instructor cannot book a theory test until your application for a driving license has been approved by the municipality and/or the police. Please note that additional driving lessons are charged for taking the practical driving test (typically 3 lessons – see more under Prices). Remember to bring your application, passport or residence permit and lesson plan to the theory test and practical test.
8. Processing of application
At the beginner’s track, you will be provided with an application form for driving license, which you are to fill in. In order for the driving school to process your application, you must bring your application (filled in and signed), a medical certificate, a passport photo and your first aid certificate after having completed lessons no. 17 + 18. You must hand in the application at the driving school and pay an appointment fee.
9. Consecutive lessons
The lessons must be consecutive. This means that there can be no long-term breaks or interruptions in your driving education. If you have been absent for more than three months, you must start over with your driving lessons. This means that you need a new lesson plan and must be registered in the theory programme Køreklar again, and you must pay once more. Furthermore, you lose your right to the start package/upgrade and/or statutory package.
The driving school has an interest in getting the students through the course as quickly as possible.
