Reacquisition of driving license
If your driving license has been suspended without conditions, you must take a reapplication driving test in accordance with section 60, subsection 2, of the Danish road traffic act. By passing this test, you will reacquire your right to drive.
You can start the lessons no earlier than three months prior to the expiry of your suspension period, and you can take the driving test a month before the end of the suspension period at the earliest.
Din Min Trafik on Amager gives you the best conditions for reacquiring your driving license, making it easier for you to pass the reapplication driving test. We also offer low prices, which means that it will not cost you a fortune to reacquire your driving license.
What are the conditions for reacquiring your driving license?
In order to reacquire and renew your driving license, you have to pass a theory test as well as a practical test. In order to not lose any additional categories you had on your driving license, you must pass these tests at least in the second attempt.
If your driving license was suspended more than three years ago, you will only get a driving license for the category included in the test. This means that you have to take tests for the other categories you had before, if you wish to reacquire these categories.
It is not a legal requirement to participate in theoretical and practical lessons before taking the reapplication test, but we recommend that you refresh your theoretical knowledge and practical qualifications before the test, giving you the best chance of passing the tests and thus reacquiring your driving license. You might originally have gotten your driving license many years ago, and therefore, you might have forgotten many of the rules.
